Some of you may have seen the segment of the TODAY SHOW on Wednesday June 15th regarding Hair Straightening. It warned against the processes known as Brazilian Keratin Straightening and Keratin Straightening. OSHA is considering restrictions on the use of these chemicals and their "NEW" (equally as dangerous) modified derivatives. The cosmetic industry is not regulated by the FDA and its manufacturers can get by with anything. For this reason I do the research necessary to ensure your safety. I investigated both of these processes as well as most new processes that are out there. The decision to not participate in their use was easy. I want to assure you that GODIVA SALON has never used anything with the dangerous chemical that is used in both of these products. We remain committed to providing only the best and safest techniques and processes. Please pass this warning on to friends and family that may be having these processes done on their hair.
